I've been accepted into a new Apple program at my school called Starship and I'm really excited to do some really amazing things this school year in the program. I am really proud of these achievements because I work very hard all school year!
I started participating in pageants in 2011. It's a lot of fun & I'm learning so much! I've gone from the super shy kid to an outgoing girl who loves making friends & trying many new things I've made some amazing friends, including some fabulous girls who one their state Miss Teen USA pageants! I won 2nd place in the Iberville Cajun Queen Pageant at my school that year as well as placed 1st in the National American Miss Pageant (Princess). Later that year, I won 4th place essay contest in November at NAM Nationals (see my submission below!!) AND this summer I won the art contest in the Jr. Pre-teen pageant (NAM)!
When I grow up, I would like to be a dancer and artist! Dancing is so much fun and just like art, it allows me to be creative as I'd like to be!
My Hobbies
Art is my passion! I love to draw and color or paint - anything that has anything to do with a art supplies! My nails are even a canvas! Sometimes I sit in my room and draw all day. Besides art, my other favorite thing to do is dance! I usually watch YouTube video dance tutorials. I have learned so many dances that way! Playing video games is super fun, too! A few of my favorite video games are Dance Central, Doritos Crash Course and Call of Duty Black Ops - yes, even a little girl likes to play army games - I’m pretty good, too! I also enjoy acting, modeling, singing, dancing, swimming, riding my bike and going to the park with my family! I also love playing instruments. I have a guitar & I'm learning how to play it! It's harder than I thought, but I know I can do it! For my birthday, my grandmother bought me a violin. I LOVE playing it... it's not as hard as guitar! I've even learned a couple of songs!
My favorite subject is Reading! I absolutely love to read! Sometimes I bring my books home from school over the weekend! This past school year, we had a book fair at my school & I got my mom to buy me about 10 books! Books are really awesome; you can go anywhere, be anyone & do anything when you read!!

What National American Miss means to me...
NAM has given me the opportunity to realize that my dreams are as attainable as I make them! As long as I work hard, no matter how big my dreams are, I can reach them. Even though I am still somewhat shy, I have learned that I can overcome that. It is ok to be nervous but as long as I can keep my smile and poise, which gives me confidence, I can succeed!
When I grow up...
I would like to be many things: a scientist, model, actress, dancer & artist. I know it’s a lot but I feel like I can do all of them or any one of them because I’m a girl with big dreams! I want to share the world with people, the way I see it, through my art! I want to dance & act in a great movie or on stage! Because I love fashion, I would love to model a designer’s clothing either on the runway or in magazines! Yes, I’m a girl with many big dreams and I know that God will bless me with whatever I need to make my big dreams come true!
